Over 40 guests were welcomed to Westcliff on Friday 26 March. Some were members of Weston U3A and others from Weston Family History Society. Following light refreshments and a welcome from Michael Hodges, MD of Broadway Heritage, we were treated to a talk by local historian Dr John Crockford-Hawley on the history of the Westcliff site. We then all had to guess the function of various finds that have been made on the site by contractor, Harry Burley. All had an opportunity to tour the Show Apartment in High Cleve and then neighbouring Dunraven. A good time was had by all.
